Born and raised in Houston Texas, I was interested in art at an early age. From pencil drawings of super hero characters when I was a kid to landscape drawings in pastels in my thirties, art has been an enjoyable hobby for me. I’ve been painting full time for a year now after falling in love with oil paints. I love the beauty and ruggedness of the American West and have spent time in Wyoming, Colorado, California, New Mexico and Utah. Artists that inspire me include Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Sargent, Courbet and Lautrec.
